About Rosie

A mum of three, a qualified personal trainer, and the person behind Move Mama. I built this community because I know exactly what it feels like to need a space that gets it.

Why I started Move Mama

After having my first baby, I realised very quickly that the fitness world was not built for mums. Classes were either too intense for a postpartum body, or they treated motherhood like something to bounce back from. I did not want to bounce back. I wanted to move forward, stronger, with a community around me who understood.

I became a qualified personal trainer with a focus on postnatal fitness and pelvic floor health because I saw a gap that needed filling. Mums deserved a trainer who understood nap schedules, breastfeeding breaks, and the emotional load of early motherhood. Someone who would never push them past what their body was ready for.

Move Mama started small - a few online clients and one Mama & Me class per week. Word spread, we added walks, and mums started showing up in numbers. The WhatsApp group began to grow, and before long people were asking for more. So we built out a full schedule of Mama & Me classes, kept coaching mums online alongside everything, then added live online workouts via Google Meet for those who could not make it in person. Now we have a community of over 300 mums showing up for each other every single week.

What makes this different? I actually care. I remember your name, your baby's age, what you are struggling with. I adapt every session in real time. If you need to breastfeed mid-class, we pause. If your toddler is having a moment, we laugh about it. There is no judgment here - only support, progress, and the occasional post-class coffee.

How I coach

1

Meet you where you are

Every mum's postpartum journey is different. Whether you are 6 weeks or 6 years post-birth, we start from your current ability and build from there. In the gym or from your living room - no pressure, no comparison.

2

Adapt in real time

Babies cry, toddlers wander, Wi-Fi drops, and sometimes you just did not sleep. Every session is flexible. I offer modifications for every exercise, whether you are on a mat in Ealing or streaming from your kitchen.

3

Focus on function over aesthetics

Stronger core, better posture, more energy for chasing toddlers - that is what we are here for. Not a number on a scale. Your body has done something incredible, and we honour that, online or in person.

4

Build habits, not pressure

One live class a week is brilliant. A 20-minute online session from home is brilliant too. I help you find a rhythm that actually fits your life, so movement becomes something you look forward to, not another thing on your to-do list.
